Teen Integration & Mentorship

I believe we become the person who would have saved our younger self, and in this I have found beautiful purpose.

Studies show us direct mentorship, listening, and support from an admirable and mature support person can significantly shift mental health in teens and young adults that have experimented with psychedelics and substances. Between 13 and 20, the pre frontal cortex is growing, which shows up as reasoning being often fear based. Thought process is guided by the amygdala, the fear center in the brain. The brain is a powerhouse for taking risks at this time, and takes into consideration how choices will look to anyone they admire.

I don’t see this as anything but misguided possibility.

Possibility, like a vibrant, swirling kaleidoscope of potential that beckons us to explore the many paths our lives could take. It invites us to dream bigger, to stretch beyond our current circumstances, and to embrace the unknown with open hearts and fierce purpose.

Interviews with top Founders, CEOs, and experts in psychedelics reveal a shared story: many began their leadership paths young, often lacking direction after their first experience. It’s both motivating and frustrating to recognize that the war on drugs targeted certain groups to control and intimidate, yet we still follow that path. Adults are often shamed for pursuing healing, and the narrative has led us to ignore the children who choose these transformative experiences, instead of supporting them through listening.

I guide from decades of personal experience and a well-rounded, extensive professional training background. This unique combination allows me to navigate this incredible developmental stage effectively, empowering individuals to make calculated risks while never losing sight of their authentic sense of Self.

Carl Jung says that “Life really does start at 40; anything before is just research.”

I am here to shine light on their current, and future research timeline.

Youth- Stand In Your Truth

S.I.Y.T (like ‘sight’) Mentorship

  • A 3-12 month mentorship program for teens and young adults who deserve, like every other human being, to have a shame-free container to express anything that arose after non-ordinary states of consciousness has expanded awareness. Guidance is through a process of reflection, integration, coaching, support, education, and beautiful reminders on how to allow joy into each day. The results by the close of the mentorship are -

  • Coping skills for nervous system regulation.

  • Fresh awareness of the many parts of the Self.

  • A solid sense of direction for the next 12 month cycle of their maturing.

  • A certificate of graduation to include in volunteer and work searches.

  • Respect for entheogens as we learn from indigenous practices.

  • A clear understanding of laws regarding psychedelics.

  • Continuing access to 1:1 personal development with me.

Programs run for 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months. This is deep exploration. You’ll get access to daily text or email inquiry if you need immediate support, weekly growth tasks, monthly vision and reflection meetings, quarterly prep for the next stage, a coming-of-age ceremony that honors the grief of stepping out of childhood, and much more.

Around 9 months into our mentoring relationship, we discuss what the next year is going to look like. This is different for everyone, but can look like searching for work that aligns with their current values, preparing for a trip to see another part of the world, locating internships, lining up courses that will further their current passions, etc.

Without this judgement-free container, and without the involvement of a responsible, unbiased mentor, we can see that many teens wind up spending years—sometimes even decades—becoming truly lost, addicted, burdened by depression, overwhelmed with shame, estranged from their true selves, and feeling distant from friends and family. It’s disheartening to realize they may struggle through precious years of their lives in addictive coping patterns, or risk wasting tens of thousands of dollars pursuing college degrees they may not benefit from, all because they believe that's the only way they will be accepted or deemed acceptable by society. This is where we learn to stand in our truth.

I look forward to chatting with you about your needs, or your child’s needs. We can start with a 15 minute consult and go from there.

Disclaimer- I do not use psychedelic substances in my mentorship program! Many psychedelics are still illegal in many areas of the world. I will happily refer out clients that present with growth and healing needs that are outside of my scope of practice.

*Our youth are not getting the integration support they need when they exercise their cognitive liberty and experiment. My job is to mentor youth through an integration process that allows them to appropriately grieve their childhood and blossom into the next chapter of their lives without mental health and addiction challenges. This work hits close to home for me, because this is the program I would’ve benefitted from in my youth. If you have any questions, please reach out!
